Who should attend the Fall Protection Equipment Inspector course?
This course is designed for Safety Officers, WSH Professionals, Project Managers, and Supervisors who are responsible for the maintenance, marking, and annual inspection of personal fall protection equipment in industries like Construction, Oil & Gas, and Facilities Management.

What are the entry requirements for the PFPEI course?
A: Participants should preferably possess a minimum Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 4 or equivalent.

How long is the certificate valid for?
A: While there is no official expiry for the competency, it is highly recommended by industry standards to attend a refresher course every 3 years to stay updated on the latest WSH legislation and inspection technology.

With over two decades of combined field experience in Singapore’s most demanding industrial environments, our instructors don't just teach the curriculum—they shape the safety standards of the industry.

Unlike purely theoretical instructors, our trainers are active practitioners in Confined Space and Height Rescue, bringing real-world insights from live sites directly into the classroom. As subject matter experts in WSH (Work-at-Heights) Regulations, our team holds advanced certifications in IRATA rope access and fall protection systems.

We leverage our deep technical background as consultants to ensure every PFPEI participant gains the 'inspector’s eye', the elite ability to identify critical equipment failures before they occur. When you train with ASR, you are learning from the same specialists whom companies call upon for high-risk safety audits and emergency rescue operations.

Tan Wei Ming
Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO)

"As a WSHO, I’ve attended many courses, but ASR’s PFPEI training stands out for its practicality. The trainers really focus on the nuances of textile examination that are often missed. It gave me the confidence to set up a more robust internal inspection regime for our harnesses and lanyards. Highly recommended for any safety professional in Singapore looking to sharpen their technical skills."

Muhammad Ridzuan Operations Manager, Construction & Engineering

"We sent our core team to ASR for the Fall Protection Equipment Inspector course. The 1-day duration is perfect for our tight schedules, and the hands-on sessions with rope access hardware were excellent. Clear, concise, and fully aligned with Singapore’s WSH (Work-at-Heights) Regulations. The facility at Enterprise Road is top-notch for training."

Sarah Lim
Equipment Inspector

"I appreciated the deep dive into 'fault areas' during the textile examination module. Unlike other theoretical courses, ASR lets you get hands-on with real equipment to identify wear and tear indicators. This course is a must for anyone responsible for issuing and maintaining PPE at the workplace."
